Fort Klock is a Central Mohawk Valley fortified stone farmhouse that was built in 1750 by the Palatine German immigrant Johannes Klock. In 1973 it was designated a National Historical Landmark. Owned by the Fort Klock Restoration, the largely original house has been restored. This 30 acre complex of the original Colonel Farm structure, also contains a working Blacksmith Shop, a new-world Dutch Barn and an early 19th Century Schoolhouse.
